Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the SC Board of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with one year experience as a Registered Nurse; or a three-year Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing with one year experience as a Registered Nurse.

Job Description:

Whitten Center, located in Clinton, SC is a residential facility of the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. The center serves residents of all ages with developmental disabilities.

Serves as Health care Coordinator for assigned consumers by maintaining an awareness of his/her consumers, their health care needs, and follow-up care through daily rounds in his/her area(s). Works closely with his/her LPN staff, health care providers and team to coordinate optimal nursing care. Completes quarterly nursing assessments, attends various meetings and psychiatric consultations. Coordinates weight information, annual physicals, medication reviews, progress notes and immunizations. Audits and monitors adherence to DHEC regulations. Provides direct nursing care when needed. Rotates weekend and holiday coverage.

Schedule:
1st shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m./ 6:30am-3:00pm 2nd shift: 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. 3rd shift: 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (days rotate--includes weekends)
