Qualifications:
? Associate?s degree in Robotics Technology or related field OR equivalent experience.
? Fanuc ARC Mate and material handing program experience.
? ABB ARC Mate and material handling program experience.
? Well-developed technical communication skills, as well as strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.
? Knowledge of automation systems and robot/machine/Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) communications.
? Experience/knowledge with robotic seam tracking and robotic welding.
? Knowledge and/or experience with system integrating of vision systems to interact with robot software.

Job Description:

The Robotics Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing robots, to be in good working order to maximize productivity. The incumbent must also be able to maintain product flow through robotic weld cells, programs, robotic welding, and material handling.

Responsibilities:
? Troubleshoot problems with robotic manufacturing equipment.
? Support production on all robotic issues to maintain and achieve daily targets.
? Support engineering on larger projects.
? Provide assistance in design, build, installation, and start-up of weld cells/fixtures.
? Re-program and/or re-teach the robotic equipment, as necessary.
? Research and develop robotic improvements to enhance overall department efficiency.
? Work with suppliers of automated/robotic equipment.
? Assist in departmental measureable goals relating to customer concerns, cost of quality, cost savings, safety, and on- time delivery.
? Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
