Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental health and safety (EHS) programs
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
- Provide training to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives
- Maintain records of safety incidents, inspections, training sessions, and other relevant data
- Stay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations and industry best practices
- Fabricate safety equipment or modify existing equipment as needed
