Must demonstrate strong leadership ability to lead the team on a daily basis as well as in the absence of the Sanitation Mgr.Coordinate requirements and motivate team members during tear down, setup, cleaning / housekeeping, etc.Must train and monitor sanitation team in the following areas:
? break down equipment and detail clean it.
? use and maintain sanitation equipment.
? safely train and use different types of cleaning chemicals.
? monitor and train associates to safely climb to heights up to 50 feet.
? monitor and train employees to properly lift up to 50 lbs.
? use and work with small hand tools.
? perform daily inspections of sanitation equipment and assigned areas.
? train and monitor associates to perform a range of tasks that will require bending stooping, climbing, and confined space cleaning.
? Must wear suitable clothes, hair/beard net, and safety shoes at all times and wear protective eyewear, gloves, face shields, and respiratory protection as indicated by Job Safety Analysis. Must follow all safety requirements of this position.
? Exposure to hazardous chemicals such as sodium hydroxide and phosphoric acid.
? Exposure to ash and dust and hot water during detail cleaning.
? Floor may be slick, space may be limited, and area can get hot or cold at times. Risks of slips and falls, burns, pinch points, electrical and chemical hazards.
