Some prior employment, especially in production, is helpful. Must have good hand/eye coordination and be at ease using a calculator, working with fractions/decimals, percentages and ratios. Also should be at ease with computers, specifically database. Applicant should be able to lift 25-pound bags of vegetable/flower seeds; will also be involved in picking and packing orders for shipping. Must be able to read accurately, following numeric sequences as well as step-by-step procedures. All functions require good attention span, neat work habits, and the ability to move around easily.
Packing of vegetable/flower seeds. May involve calibration and use of seed counting equipment. May involve participation in inventory procedures.
