Must be at least 21 years of age with a HS diploma. Some college education and previous supervision experience is preferred. Must have excellent communication and leadership skills. Must be willing and able to interact with guests and employees of all ages. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must successfully complete Zip Guide Training and Certification with Riverbanks Zoo and Garden.
Under general supervision, is responsible for the successful operation of Riverbanks Zip Line Courses. The Senior Guide will act as the day to day, hands on, direct leader to the staff working the attraction. Ensures the safe and efficient operation of the course and consistent high quality service to all guests. Will assist in training and certifying staff on the proper methods of course operation, including: course inspections, harnessing, emergency procedures, cash control, various reports and documentation as outlined by Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. Reports to the Attractions Coordinator and Attractions Manager.
