Requirements:

A high school diploma and six (6) years of progressively responsible field experience in geodetic surveying or related area; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license.

Job Description:

Performs bridge/culvert inspections, prepares all pertinent reports, assembles and distributes required report(s) to headquarters, county entities, and school officials. Determines the preliminary structural condition and recommends any needed weight restrictions until a more comprehensive structural analysis can be performed by headquarters. Assists all Resident Maintenance Engineers and bridge repair crew with necessary repairs. Checks completed repairs and advises if additional work is needed. Coordinates between district staff and headquarters all operating procedures in the absence of the Team Leader. Assists with the supervision and training of subordinates. Updates bridge inspection history data to ABIS.Performs other duties necessary for the successful completion of the inspection program.
