Wages/Salary: $35,000- 40,000 annually
Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and two years of experience in student services programs. A valid driver's license and safe driving history.
Preferred Requirements: Master’s Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field is preferred. Experience in Greek Life and membership in Greek organization desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership skills with a commitment to building collaborative relationships with students, faculty and staff. Excellent listening and communication skills. Must have working knowledge of fraternity and sorority missions, policies, programs and laws that impact Greek organizations as well as service learning programs development techniques. Ability to develop education programs which meet the emerging needs of our students. Working knowledge of university policy and state law. Must be aware and capable of implementing best practices in the field.
The primary purpose for the Assistant Director of Student Activities is to serve as a liaison between the University and the National Fraternity and Sorority Greek Letter social organizations and develop community service opportunities. In addition, this position assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive collection of student activities programs.
37.5 hours per week.
