Wages/Salary: $22,182.00 - $41,046.00 Annually
A high school diploma and one and one-half (1.5) years of work experience directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License is required.
Assists Shop Foreman and mechanics in procuring correct repair parts for vehicles and heavy equipment. Requisitions and issues parts, supplies, and equipment. Assists in maintaining detailed inventory records of supplies and equipment on hand. Prepares inventory and mileage reports as necessary. Liaison for purchasing card purchases used in the maintenance repair shop. Reviews and reconciles purchases and statements for several cards for compliance with purchasing care program. Assists in maintaining records and scheduling on the preventative maintenance (PM) program. Prepares reports as necessary. Assists with responsibility for fuel system management program; including daily leak detection and inventory. Notifies RME of any possible problems. Assists in submitting inventory information to petroleum source. Assists with inventory receiving such as: receives supplies, assists in unloading supply truck. Checks material received against invoices and properly adds stock received to inventory. Responsible for maintaining neat and orderly stockrooms. Performs other related duties as required such as courier mail, parts retrieval, janitorial supply stocking, and SDS log book maintenance. Supervises subordinates in receiving, storing, issuing, and requisitioning stock and checking for compliance.
