Applicant must have completed a Surgical Technician program or completed specific on the job training. Current BLS certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of hire. They must have a minimum of 1 year surgical technician training and/or graduate of an accredited program.
The Surgical Tech assists the surgeon in performing various surgical procedures on patients presenting to the OR. The Surgical Tech must work effectively with the physicians, clients, and peers possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
