Requirements:

Faculty teaching associate degree courses not designed for transfer to baccalaureate degree: bachelor's degree in teaching discipline, or associate degree & demonstrated competencies in teaching discipline; for program accreditation-certified surgical technologist & have minimum 3 years experience either in operating room scrub role or as an instructor in the field of surgical technology-combination of both within the last 5 years. Must maintain certification & receive yearly CE hours.

Job Description:

Provides leadership, organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of clinical experiences for students enrolled in the surgical technology program. Includes instruction of students, student enrollment and advisement, student recruitment and retention, marketing and the provision of services to the College and community. Responsible for didactic and clinical experiences required to implement the Surgical Tech curriculum including curriculum and instructional development, assessment functions to include program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes.
