Temporary Part-Time Bus Driver (Student Affairs)

Minimum Requirements: The University Bus Driver is required to have, as a minimum, class III CDL driver's license, criminal records and drivers check, drug test and physical assessment will be required. Required to have a CDL Class C Driver’s License with an P and S endorsement and safe driving history. The University Bus Driver has a moderately strenuous job. The Driver must sit for long periods and requires intense concentration, particularly in poor driving conditions. The University Bus Driver must work in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have proficient knowledge of highway and university bus regulation, how to deal with students, how to deal with students with special needs, scheduling system and procedures, record keeping system and equipment cleaning standards and procedures. Basic computer skills and knowledge.
