Performs duties using manual labor, in such maintenance task as clearing of right-of-ways. Trains in the operation of CDL vehicles. Flags traffic during road repairs to control flow of traffic to protect workers, general public and equipment. Operates chain saw in cutting trees on right-of-way. Trains to operate standard dump truck with snow plow attachment and sand spreader to remove snow and ice from highways and bridges. Trains in the operation combination tractor mowers (sickle/rotary) in cutting right-of-way and shoulders. Conducts and documents pre-operation vehicle/equipment inspection. Performs other related job duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.
