**ADVERTISEMENT IS FOR THREE (3) POSITIONS IN SALUDA COUNTY**
Trains in the operation of tractor mounted rotary ditching machine Flags traffic during road repairs to control flow of traffic to protect workers, general public and equipment. Trains in the operation of a tractor mower (sickle/rotary) in cutting right-of-way and shoulders. Trains in the operation of CDL vehicles for hauling material such as asphalt, limestone, dirt, soil, cement, pipe, construction materials and debris. Conducts and documents pre-operation vehicle/equipment inspection. Operates a chain saw in cutting trees on right-of-way. Performs other related job duties as requested or assigned by supervisor. Operates and maintains electric/gas powered tools in various phases of roadway maintenance. Assists in emergency road operations including inclement weather, snow/ice and hazardous conditions.
