Wages/Salary: STATE SALARY RANGE: $20,450.00 - $37,840.00 Annually AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MIN: $24,727.00 AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MAX: $37,840.00
10th grade education and four and one-half (4.5) years of related trades experience; or an
approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid commercial driver's license. (Note): This position requires a commercial driver's
license. However, applicants without a commercial driver's license will be considered if no
qualified applicants with a commercial driver's license are available. However, applicants are
required to obtain a commercial driver's license within six (6) months of employment.
May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends or holidays, and during inclement weather
or other emergencies.
Under general supervision, performs skilled duties in the operation of heavy duty and complex
motorized equipment in the construction and maintenance of state roadway and bridge
Systems. Operates front end loader with combination backhoe, motor grader, trucks, and/or
athey loader as needed to complete work assignments. In the absence of crew leader, supervises a crew in the maintenance of state roadway and bridge operations. Operates salt
spreader and/or snow plow in removal of snow and ice. Performs other related duties as
required.
