Requirements:

A 10th grade education and three and one-half (3.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State human Resources Regulations.
A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

Trains new employees in the operation of mower tractor with combination mower and the
operation of slope mower. Operates tractor with mowers and combination mowers in the
cutting of shoulders and right-of-ways of State Highway System. Operates slope mower in cuts and fills on highway right-of-way. Assumes supervisor's duties and responsibilities during their absence. In supervisor's absence, completes daily work reports including data entry into HMMS. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)/ Full-Time
