Wages/Salary: $24,881.00 - $46,033.00 Annually
A high school diploma and four and one-half (4.5) years of related trade experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.A valid commercial driver's license. (Note): This position requires a commercial driver's license. However, applicants without a commercial driver's license will be considered if no qualified applicants with a commercial driver's license are available. However, applicants are required to obtain a commercial driver's license within six (6) months of employment.
May be required to work overtime due to inclement weather, night shifts and/or weekends or holidays.
Under general supervision, assigns and organizes work and supervises a crew in all phases of but not limited to right-of-way clearance, mowing, and tree removal operations. Receives and investigates work request and complaints and schedules appropriate action. Responsible forpaperwork and data entry into Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS) for daily work assignments. Supervises the preventative maintenance of equipment to ensure routinemaintenance schedule is followed. Operates heavy equipment as needed such as backhoe,motor grader, vacall, etc. Performs other related duties as needed.
