Wages/Salary: STATE SALARY RANGE: $26,139.00 - $48,361.00 Annually AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MIN: $35,718.00 AGENCY HIRING RANGE - MAX: $48,361.00
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma and six and one-half (6.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class ?A? Commercial Driver?s License are available.
Supervises and inspects work including mowing, patching, laying pipe, and paving driveways. Maintains weekly and monthly reports, time sheets, and cost records via HMMS. Recommends personnel actions including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures. Rates employee yearly according to the Employee Performance Management System. Supervises and ensures a safe work zone for maintenance crews, as flagging operations, wearing of safety equipment, vehicle safety, or when working with hazardous material and waste. Supervises the preventative maintenance of equipment to ensure routine maintenance schedule is followed and to monitor equipment use and wear to prolong equipment life. Supervises and coordinates crew in the removal of snow and ice from roadways and storm damage. Performs other duties as requested
in emergency situations including on call for after hours emergencies. Ensures crew member are in compliance with all Department safety rules and regulations.
