Wages/Salary: $400 per week. What you’ll be doing
The General Waterfront Counselor is someone who guides and ensures the safety of campers as they engage in a variety of camp activities. As the General Waterfront Counselor, utilizing your areas of expertise, you will assist in activity planning and implementation for up to 6 activity periods per day across a wide range of activity areas; canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, lifeguarding, and being a spotter on a motor boat. In this role, you will bring fun, engaging programming to life for our campers and facilitate memories that will last a lifetime.
What we need from you
- Assist in planning and implementing waterfront activities based on assigned waterfront areas, specific to age and ability.
- Work with the Waterfront team to ensure the cleanliness of the waterfront area.
- Follow and enforce Camp Cody’s waterfront safety protocols, and ensure all campers and staff are tagging in and out of the waterfront.
- Maintain constant supervision of campers; acting immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of campers in event of an emergency.
