The Piedmont Technical College chapter of Phi Beta Lambda recently hosted the organization’s 2017 State Leadership Conference. The conference allowed students to compete in leadership events, share their successes, and learn new ideas about shaping the future of their career through workshops and exhibits. Three PTC students took awards during the competition. Pictured are, from left, Derek Oliver of Greenwood, who placed first in Job Interview and third in Organizational Behavior and Leadership; club member Jonathan Strong of Greenwood; club member Shakina Hamilton of Greenwood; club member Bobbie Peterson of Greenwood; Landarius Houston of McCormick, who placed first in Personal Finance and third in Client Services; and John Barton of Ninety Six, who placed first in Cybersecurity and first in Computer Applications.
