PTC to Host She’s Somebody’s Hero with Diana Jordan

Women have always been heroes. They do extraordinary things, but so often, we think of them as ordinary. They shape the world, trying to make it kinder, softer, more compassionate, and a more beautiful place to live.

To celebrate women, Piedmont Technical College will host “She’s Somebody’s Hero featuring Diana Jordan” Friday, May 15.

A breast cancer survivor, Jordan is an inspirational, motivational comedian who will entertain her audience with "The Healing Power of Laughter. As she shares the lessons she has learned over the past 25 years, Jordan will make people laugh while teaching them the importance of choosing to be happy and sharing the benefits of keeping love and laughter in our lives.

“We are excited to bring such an inspirational speaker to Greenwood,” said Vickie Baldwin, program manager for Piedmont Technical College. “Diana uses laughter to educate and motivate her audience.”

She’s Somebody’s Hero featuring Diana Jordan will be held in the James Medford Family Event Center from 6-8:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each, with an early bird discount price of $35 before May 4. Discounts are available for groups of six or more. Tickets include a catered dinner, a fashion consultant to speak about accessorizing your wardrobe, vendors for shopping and Diana Jordan’s program.
