Scholarships Presented, Donors Recognized at Luncheon

Scholarships were presented to students and donors were recognized at the recent scholarship luncheon.

 

Capsugel ScholarshipSix Piedmont Technical College students were awarded the Capsugel Scholarship at a recent scholarship luncheon. Awarded annually, the scholarship is based on academic achievement and financial need.  

 

 

 

WA Klauber ScholarshipThree Piedmont Technical College students were recently awarded the W. A. Klauber Memorial Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. Awarded annually to radiologic technology majors with at least one semester in clinical, the scholarship is based on academic achievement and financial need.

 

 

 

 

Olly Garrison ScholarshipTwo Piedmont Technical College students were recently awarded the Olly Garrison Memorial Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. The scholarship is awarded annually to a returning adult student who is changing careers and maintains a minimum 3.0 grade point average.

 

 

 

 

Lakelands Orthopaedic ScholarshipTwo Piedmont Technical College students recently received the Lakelands Orthopedic Clinic Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. The scholarship is awarded annually to a student majoring in the Radiologic Technology program who is program-ready or near program-ready status and demonstrates academic achievement and financial need.

 

 

 

 

Medford Family Foundation ScholarshipTwo Piedmont Technical College students were recently awarded the Medford Family Foundation Scholarship at the college’s annual scholarship luncheon. Pictured are, from left, Francis Pressly, a machine tool student from Due West; Jim Medford, donor and presenter; and Maryanne Contreras, a pre-nursing student from Greenwood. This scholarship is available to a student majoring in Nursing, Industrial Technology, Graphic Arts, Business, Massage Therapy or Automotive Technology who exhibits leadership abilities, academic achievement and financial need.

 

 

 

Two Piedmont Technical College students were recently awarded the Allred Leadership Scholarship. Recipients were Brandi Rudder, a radiologic technology student from Calhoun Falls and Matthew Anderson, an Associate in Science student from Greenwood. The scholarship is awarded annually to two high school seniors, based on academic achievement, financial need and leadership.
