Students Receive Countywide Academic Achievement Recognition

At Piedmont Technical College's recent summer commencement, the following outstanding students received awards for countywide academic excellence.

Abbeville County student Nicholas Manley, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. He was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Thelma Woody. Manley received his associate degree in mechanical engineering technology.

Edgefield County student Madison Derrick, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. She was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Rufus Sherard. Derrick received her associate degree in general technology-surgical technology concentration. 

Greenwood County student Hannah Beardsley, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. She was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Peter Manning. Beardsley graduated with a diploma in applied science/surgical technology.  

Laurens County student Brent Balcome, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. He was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Richard Cain. Balcome received an associate degree in mechatronics technology. 

Newberry County student David Kibler, left, was honored for maintaining high academic success. He was recognized by PTC Area Commissioner Cherry Brown. Kibler received an associate degree in mechatronics technology.
