Requirements:

High School diploma + 2 yrs work experience in law enforcement. Certification by the Law Enforcement Training Council in accordance with 23-23-40 of the Code of
Laws of South Carolina 1976 with 4+ years of experience.

Job Description:

Patrol all GTC campuses, buildings, and properties (vehicle and foot patrols), issue traffic and criminal summons, operate service vehicle, radio, and other related equipment. Secure GTC buildings and properties and complete daily activity reports. Answer all calls for service, investigate criminal offenses/violations, on property traffic accidents, disturbances, and complete criminal and administrative reports. Make criminal arrests. Participate and successfully complete training courses, including training to maintain Class I.
Provide student and faculty/staff escorts, as requested.Conduct formal and informal review of college facilities for fire, safety, or criminal
violations. Complete relative reports for same. Assist safety officers with security duties, locking/unlocking buildings/classrooms, dissemination of
parking decals, student and employee ID cards, and other related duties.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
