Bachelor's degree + 1 yr related work experience; or an associate degree + 3 yrs related work
experience; or HS diploma + 5 yrs related work experience.
Must be able to type at a corrected rate of 35-55 words per minute and have basic knowledge of
computer operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with learning management systems or similar relational databases and demonstrated
skills in use of data mining and reporting

Job Description:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES In this challenging role, you will support the CCD Environmental Health & Safety department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:
-Serving in a centralized function as the division learning management system database administrator maintaining the accuracy of course and student data.
-Performing data mining for divisional assessment, auditing purposes and marketing purposes.
-Interfacing with users to develop and implement new procedures and/or providing staff training, updating procedures, and maintaining documentation for processes related to data use and management.
-Interfacing with marketing to implement innovative use of data to market division activities.
-Ensuring compliance with division audit requirements to policies set by local, state, and accrediting entities; tracking errors and implementing corrective actions; compiling data for internal auditing and submitting reports to auditing agencies.
-Ensuring smooth and efficient operation of division record retention process; coordinating logistical needs for supplies; schedule dates for proper destruction of files; maintain documentation in
accordance with established procedures.
-Provide additional administrative support, as directed by supervisor.
