Requirements:

An associate degree and three (3) years of related financial experience; or an approved
acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A bachelor's
degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for two (2) years of the required
work experience.

Job Description:

Records mobile equipment and fixed assets into the inventory system and reconcile to the General Ledger and Comptroller General balances. Generates monthly proof and update for both fixed assets and mobile equipment. Prepares and distributes worksheets and inventory list used by accountable property custodians to conduct and submit their annual physical equipment inventory. Oversees processing of annual equipment and Land and Buildings inventory list received from custodians. Assists custodians in problem solving. Maintains inventory list which have been verified and signed by custodians. Maintains SCDOT STARS tables used in the fixed assets inventory system. Assists with Bills Rendered posting and balancing. Assists with daily cash receipts and processing of memorandums. Trains users on the fixed asset system. Posts property transfer to Equipment Control System and Fixed Asset Inventory.
