Requirements:

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

An Associate's degree.  A high school diploma with at least three years related clerical experience may be substituted for degree.

Additional Requirements: 
Ability to plan and manage projects, establish and maintain effective working  relationships and communicate in a clear, effective  and positive manner. Must be proficient in Word and Excel. Discretion is essential. South Carolina Enterprise Information System experience is preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

THIS IS A PART TIME, TEMPORARY POSITION


Independently performs a variety of administrative duties involved in the operation of  Highway Patrol Headquarters/Office of Promotion Policy Administration.   Applies written policies and HP procedures to perform varying tasks. Uses knowledge of HP operations, various computer programs, and general office procedures to make independent decisions with high degree of confidentiality.

Assists the Highway Patrol  Office of Promotion Policy Administration with receiving, filling, and data entry.
 
Assists in maintaining and organizing files both hard copies and electronic for easy location and accessibility.
 
Assists in reviewing and scanning college transcripts and updating the HP College Credit roster.
 
Researches and assists with special project(s), such as policy research, assigned by Program Coordinator II.
 
Assists with OPPA records maintenance and file audits.
 
Performs other duties as required.

This position is part time and up to 25 hours per week.
