A high school diploma and workable knowledge of automotive electronics. Two years of property control or clerical experience.

Job Description:

Responsible for incoming and outgoing DPS emergency equipment stock inventory to be tracked properly. Includes checking, counting, and placement in proper location of incoming stock. Receiving Patrol Supply's requisitions, filing, and sending stock to outside districts as needed.
Responsible for correctly receiving parts and equipment out of all DPS vehicles being prepared for State Surplus. This includes making sure all parts are recorded accordingly to Fleet standards to ensure all inventory quantity numbers are accurate on a day by day basis.
Responsible for correctly tracking paperwork to be filled out for all DPS equipment removed and installed in or on any vehicle within the SCEMIS system (The South Carolina Equipment Management Information System).
Updates the status of vehicles being prepped to issue to employees as they are being prepared in the shop. Also updates the system with serialized DPS equipment information.
Responsible for receiving and completing any other task deeded necessary by direct DPS supervisors.
This job is in a shop environment with some outdoor work. This job requires physical labor.

Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
