Requirements:

Associate?s Degree or a High School diploma and two (2) years of related work experience required. Selected positions may require the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35-55 wpm and/or basic knowledge of computer operations. Bachelor?s Degree and two (2) years of related administrative office experience in an educational setting preferred. Experience in managing budgets, purchasing, preparing correspondence, and solving problems creatively are also preferred. The employee must take initiative to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines and priorities while demonstrating keen attention to detail. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required and the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, and students are essential. Position requires some flexibility in work schedule in conjunction with seasonal special events and occasional local travel.

Job Description:

To perform with excellence a broad range of administrative support duties for multiple staff members within the Student Develoment Division and to foster a welcoming and engaging office environment for students seeking services.
?With input from supervisor, identifies, prioritizes and completes administrative tasks in a timely manner.
?Coordinates logistics for procurement and travel for staff and student activities according to relevant policies and procedures.
?Serves as a responsive and accurate initial point of contact for inquiries in person, by phone, and electronically.
?Assists with organizing schedules and communications for Work Study students and student organization leaders within the Student Development Division.
?Performs and maintains procedures to strengthen office efficiency.
?Participates in campus wide activities and committees and performs other administrative duties as assigned
