High school diploma and three (3) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license.
May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends or holidays, and during inclement weather or other emergencies.

Job Description:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of advanced administrative duties in a
Spartanburg Maintenance Office. Maintains complex filing system. Prepares, computes and types reports in personal computer. Performs procurement duties in a busy maintenance office.Sets up and maintains purchase orders in accordance with SCDOT regulations and contracts,obtains bids, orders supplies and submits invoices for payment. Maintain stockpile in the Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS). Provides assistance with requests from members of the public, either in person or by phone; handles all incoming calls and correspondence, forwards to the appropriate person or office. Communicates with the general public in a professional manner. Acts as timekeeper, entering time in Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS). Performs other related duties as needed.

Monday - Friday (8:00 - 5:00)- Full-Time
