Requirements:

Associate degree, or high school diploma plus two years’ related work experience.  Requires the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35 wpm and basic knowledge of computer operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in a related field plus one year of procurement experience is preferred.  

Job Description:

Assists with preparing purchase orders, and related procurement duties.  Process all correspondence daily for purchasing to include purchase orders, state requisitions, and service contracts.  Monitors (online) requisitions for compliance with the Procurement Code and College policies.  Communicates with vendors in sending out purchase orders and follows up on outstanding purchase orders.  Enters new vendors into administrative software system.

Schedule:
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
Monday - Thursday
(1 hour lunch)
8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Friday
