Requirements:

A high school diploma; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.

Job Description:

Assists utility inspectors performing daily inspections on projects involving phone line underground installation. Inspects construction crews performing underground utility work.Assists in the review, inspection, and determination of recommendations for approval of residential encroachment permits. Attends County Development Board meetings and makes recommendations for subdivision projects pertaining to SCDOT issues. Assists SCDOT inspector concerning encroachment permits for commercial projects. Assists SCDOT inspector concerning drainage and erosion control issues. Instructs CPR classes for Maintenance and Construction divisions. Assists inspector with bi-annual guardrail inspection and data input.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)/ Full-Time
