A high school diploma and three (3) years of experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.

Job Description:

Acts as inspector on roadway projects. Performs inspection and required sampling and testing work in at least three specialized areas. Maintains projects records. Enters or reviews all daily work reports on assigned projects. Performs EEO and wage regulation interviews. Performs all required traffic control and erosion control inspections weekly, monthly, and nighttime. Verifies the accuracy of the certification and sample logs, on assigned projects. Acts as inspector on road projects- surveys, line and grade verification. Assists in surveying, checks and verifies all offsets and grades associated with all phases of road construction. Performs general office duties. Assists in the preparation of monthly construction estimates and as-built plans. Assists the administrative assistant with phones, faxes, and customer service as necessary. Performs other related duties.

Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)-Full Time
