Job Description:

In the role of Investigator I, you will use your research and communications skills to verify specialized information for our clients. You will communicate your efforts in a written format that is concise and free of grammatical and spelling errors. The information will support our clients with the details they need to make smarter hiring decisions. Your day will consist of conducting internet research and contacting external parties via phone, email, and fax in order to give our clients the most up to date, detailed and accurate information possible. This role requires the ability to obtain information in an efficient and professional manner.

Position Responsibilities:
Conduct employment and education verification, reference and license verification in priority order within an assigned time frame.
Follow internal database notes in order to complete searches as ordered.
Conduct internet research.
Prepare written reports free of grammatical errors, summarizing research results.
Verify the accuracy and validity of data entered in the internal database and correct any errors.
Follow research quality control procedures.
Communicate with individuals via telephone to complete assigned verifications.
Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voicemail systems and personal computers.
Compute, record, and proofread data to ensure quality control measures are followed.
Follow up on previous requests to external parties to obtain needed information.

Schedule:
Full Time
Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, some overtime required
