Wages/Salary: this really depends on experience base start with NO experience 11.00-12.00 if experienced then wages will be discussed.
Candidate must have passed the exam for being Certified Medical Assistant
Prefer Someone who has some medical office experience will however consider someone who has exceled in the CMA program or in their externship and picks up on instruction quickly and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Specifically in the area of working up patients, giving shots and who has excellent phone/people skills
CMA will rotate between back, front and our shot room. Candidate will being giving allergy injections,work up pts for evaluation to include but not limited to: vitals, keying in information in EMR, performing allergy skin test, patch testing, pulmonary function test and reading the values of the test, providing pt education, pt referrals to other Drs and from other Drs., refilling prescriptions, talking with pts/pharmacies/other Drs. offices over the phone. Checking in/out patients, scheduling appts, entering charges and fees that are collected as well as all other upfront duties.
Tues and Thursday 7:30-5:30 (open thru lunch, we rotate lunches)
Fri 8:00-12:00 closed Friday afternoons
**must be present 15min prior to our start time, being willing to stay over in the event there are still pts being seen.
