Job Description:

Summary

This supervisory position is responsible for the management of college software, including the college’s enterprise resource planning and reporting systems. This position provides direct management and leadership for the development of programming solutions to support software and user needs to include interfaces between systems.  Some telecommunicating/remote work may be acceptable for this position. However, selected candidate will be required to work on site as needed.

Supervision Duties: Senior Software Analyst

Performance Objectives

  • Provide general administration and management for software systems day to day operations
  • Work closely with Business Analyst/Project Manager and internal teams to collaborate on software updates to maximize usage of systems and implementation of new software solutions
  • Implement and maintain operating policies to mitigate risk
  • Responsible for the security of data of the systems under this area of responsibility
  • Interpret contracts and business documents, maintain current listing of software solutions and manage assigned budgets
  • Provide in-depth technical support for staff in functional areas
  • Support programming needs by working with users to define those needs, then develop reports and processes
  • Develop and maintain procedures and processes to integrate Banner with other systems as needed
  • Improve interoperability of disparate applications
  • Provide back-up support to DBA
  • Provide back-up for Web Tailor support for Banner’s SSB solution
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
