Requirements:

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree in engineering; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and two (2)years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists managing contract maintenance projects. Assists performing project inspection duties as needed. Performs roadway and drainage inspections of the state road system in Anderson County. Assists in the review of damage claims and making recommendations for payment or denial. Assists with investigating complaints and work orders in maintenance. Performs other related job duties as requested or assigned by supervisor. Assists ARME with permit applicantions process as needed. Prepares maintenance contracts for bids. Performs surveying duties as needed. Trains in use of HMMS. Trains in departmental policies concerning procurement, and acts as procurement card liasion. Trains in maintenance shop yard environmental policies and procedures.
