Requirements:

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree in engineering; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and two (2) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Job Description:

Assists with preparing maintenance contracts for bid.Trains in use of contract Bid Estimate System.Trains in the management of highway and bridge maintenance programs and contracts. Trains in departmental policy process concerning local CTC's. Performs other duties as directed by supervisor. Trains in the use of HMMS. Trains in area of Maintenance Shop supervision. Assists with management of contract maintenance projects. Trains in maintenance shop yard environmental policies and procedures. Trains in the review and coordination of encroachment permit applications. Performs surveying duties as needed. Trains in the survey
equipment and software utilized for construction layout and contractor survey verification. Assists with investigating complaints and work orders in maintenance.

Schedule:
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
