Requirements:

Must possess a valid S.C. driver's license. Requires Associates degree or education and training equivalent to two years of college education in the computer science or closely related field. Preferred requirements: working knowledge of Windows desktop and servers; working knowledge of Cisco equipment installation and configuration; and working knowledge of VMWare and virtual environments. Current 10 year driving record must be submitted with application and resume.

Job Description:

Assist the IT Director in establishing, planning, managing and maintaining the overall policies, goals and resources as they relate to Information Technology (IT) for Saluda County; analyze the needs of all County Departments and establishes priorities, feasibility studies, systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify County information processing systems while providing overall technology leadership for County government; performs related technical and administrative work as required; plan, organize and implement programs within major organizational policies, report program process to executive-level administration through reports and conferences.
