Wages/Salary: This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Starting rate is $23/hour, DOE.
The candidate's basic requirements must include: Previous experience in mechanical and electrical installation of measuring systems; Installation and commissioning of auxiliary systems (chiller). Replacement of mechanical components of the measuring systems. Replacement of electrical/electronic equipment of the measurement system; Replacement and focusing of optical parts; Replacement of laser equipment; Calibration of measurement system; PC components replacement (HD, memories, image restoration); Testing and Verification of full system functionality; Parameterization of the cameras; Analysis and verification of the system functioning both remotely and in the field; Use of proprietary software for the system functioning; Check/Modification PLC software for system start-up; Preparation of detailed reports on activities carried out in the field; Ability to coordinate with company stakeholders and other departmental teams to increase company performance and efficiency.
Qualifications/Education are an Associate degree in Electric, Electronic, or Mechanical Applications. Postsecondary professional training and certifications in related field are highly desired. Strong proficiency in the use of computer and Microsoft applications are essential. Willingness to learn the use of proprietary software and measurement systems is a must. Previous experience in a similar industry and function is required and a minimum 3 years working experience is highly desired.
The Installation and Maintenance Technician duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the installation activities of the diagnostic and measurement systems, maintenance and corrective maintenance during the warranty and post-warranty periods. During the installation phase, the Technician will partake in all the electrical and mechanical activities in the field, on-site testing, initial start-up of the systems while supporting any additional requirement associated with the commissioning of the system. During the maintenance and assistance phase, the Technician will provide all the maintenance support related to planned and scheduled maintenance, remote and field diagnosis, repairs and functional checks of the installed system.
