Responsibilities
Coming this summer, we are offering incredible experience building opportunities for aspiring information technology professionals. These opportunities will be in Infrastructure, Development, and Cyber Security. Positions will be located in the Columbia Metro Area and the V.C. Summer Nuclear Station in Jenkinsville, SC, with our Information Services and Technology organization.
Qualifications
Program Requirements:
Completed the first year of a 4-year college/university or 2-year college transfer program
Degree being pursued is in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or a related program
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Availability to work from May 13, 2019 to August 2, 2019
Experience/Knowledge:
Infrastructure: coursework or experience with any of the following in PC hardware functionality, desktop imaging, network monitoring tools, Microsoft office product support, asset management.
Development: coursework or experience with any of the following in Relational databases, object-oriented programming, SQL, VB .NET, C++, C#, TCL, Unix, Linux, PowerBuilder, COBOL, DB2, ASP.NET.
Cyber Security: coursework or experience with any of the following in Intrusion detection or prevention, analysis of network vulnerabilities, use of industry standard products to mitigate cyber threats.
