Analyze physical parameters of raw and finished product and determine rejection or acceptance.
Aseptically receive, document, and process finished product samples for microanalysis and store properly prior to testing.
Test solid level of liquid egg products to maintain appropriate level.
Monitor performance of sanitation of plant by swabbing of equipment and environment for microbiological testing.
Per the SOP Program, monitor and document all lab instruments and equipment operation as required by Laboratory Quality Assurance/ FSIS Laboratory Recognition/Certification Program.
Per the SSOP Program, clean all lab ware, lab equipment, lab countertops, etc. in order to maintain sanitary environment for accurate microbiological analysis.
Weekly hand grade of contract producer egg quality
Shell egg break out for Salmonella testing as needed
Insure compliance with label claims through sampling.
Insure compliance with governmental regulations.
Assist with any duties as needed in the lab or plant.
