Requirements:

Must have High School diploma or GED
Must be willing and able to perform physically demanding tasks repetitively for extended periods of time (i.e. lifting, pushing/pulling, gripping, reaching, sitting, walking, standing, bending, climbing ladders/stairs) with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to work with minimal supervision, and work with Maintenance team during Shut down work as needed
Must be willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed to perform duties
Must be willing to work in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy and high volume environment
Must have at least 1 year of industrial mechanical maintenance experience within a manufacturing/production environment
Must have experience using a computer for basic record-keeping and documentation functions
Must be willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs) with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be willing and able to attend training on Precision Maintenance practices and tools,,This may require some traveling, usually no more than one week at a time.
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical prints
Participate in equipment assessments both in house and at other millsites as requested
Must possess or be capable of obtaining MLT1 certification

Job Description:

Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Perform Precision Preventative/Predictive Maintenance utilizing the latest and most efficient technologies available
Monitor and Record Hydraulic Oil usage in CMMS system
Maintain proper storage and inventory of all lubricants, including upkeep of storage location
Pull and process Oil samples, maintain all records pertaining to this process
Assist Maintenance personnel and Production personnel in the determination of effective grease, oil, and hydraulic fluid application methods that are least intrusive and most effective for all machinery on the plant site
Assist with training Production Employees in the proper OBC and Lubrication techniques
Participate in PM development and scheduled parts replacement based upon visual inspection of equipment
Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures and offer solutions to prevent reoccurrence
Assist in root cause analysis of premature failures of bearings, cylinders, pumps, and valves
Perform Precision Mechanical alignments/adjustments as needed to maintain mill equipment
Perform all assigned tasks at or above industry standard and document tolerances and other information as required
Write work requests/work orders as necessary
Apply ?best environmental practices? to all storage, transportation and disposal of all oils and lubricants, containers and residue
Inform plant EHS personnel of any issues pertaining to major spills, leaks, or loss of oils and lubrication materials

Schedule:
5:45 am to 6:00 pm. Monday through Friday. Weekend work when scheduled.
