A high school diploma and five to seven years of experience in the general maintenance field with electrical, plumbing and irrigation system emphasis. Two to three years supervisory experience preferred. The equivalent combination of education, training and related work experience may be considered.
A valid S.C. driver's license is required. A licensed electrician strongly preferred.
Supervises and participates in the maintenance and repair of plumbing and irrigation systems.
Participates in work of assigned crew; operates automotive, maintenance, and construction equipment; instructs and trains crew members; performs the more skilled tasks, and uses specialized machine and power tools.
Keeps various work and employee records and prepares reports of assigned activities.
Performs light carpentry and electrical maintenance and repair.
Operates trucks, tractors and related equipment.
Performs routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
Assists with special events as needed.
Assist with contractors and contracts.
Performs all other duties as may be assigned to meet organizational needs.
