Essential Functions:
- Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Act as the primary interface between production operators and maintenance teams, particularly for automated and semi-automated equipment.
- Support and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system, including updates, corrections, and process-driven changes.
- Coordinate and manage procurement of manufacturing equipment parts to ensure continuity of operations and minimize production interruptions.
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows; conduct experiments and trials to recommend and implement improvements.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Participate in and promote all safety initiatives; ensure safe practices are embedded in all shop floor activities.
- Provide day-to-day project leadership, ensuring assigned initiatives are completed on time and within scope.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process specifications.
- Support cost analysis and process costing activities to improve financial performance.
- Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and procedures to ensure successful implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, supply chain, and product engineering.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for quality or production issues.
Secondary Duties:
- Participates in HSE activities as required.
- Must be able to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related technical discipline
Experience
- 3 - 5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred

- Mechanical aptitude
- SolidWorks experience a plus
