Requirements:

Essential Functions:

  • Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Act as the primary interface between production operators and maintenance teams, particularly for automated and semi-automated equipment.
  • Support and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system, including updates, corrections, and process-driven changes.
  • Coordinate and manage procurement of manufacturing equipment parts to ensure continuity of operations and minimize production interruptions.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows; conduct experiments and trials to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Participate in and promote all safety initiatives; ensure safe practices are embedded in all shop floor activities.
  • Provide day-to-day project leadership, ensuring assigned initiatives are completed on time and within scope.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process specifications.
  • Support cost analysis and process costing activities to improve financial performance.
  • Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and procedures to ensure successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, supply chain, and product engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for quality or production issues.

Secondary Duties:

  • Participates in HSE activities as required.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related technical discipline

Experience

  • 3 - 5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting daily production operations, optimizing manufacturing processes, and serving as a key liaison between production operators, maintenance teams, and engineering. This role ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing performance, with a strong emphasis on automated equipment support, continuous improvement, and ERP/BOM management.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday / Available to work on weekend if it's necessary.
