Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $37,945 to $54,074.
The required requirements are Bachelor?s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field plus two (2) years? experience in automated information or communication system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing; or associate?s degree in computer science, computer technology, or related field plus four (4) years? experience in automated information or communication system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing; or high school diploma plus six (6) years? experience in automated information or communication system design, installation, operation, repair, sales or marketing.
The preferred qualifications will have a Cisco or another nationally recognized Network certification, with experience managing Cisco equipment. Microsoft and A+ certifications are a plus. Good knowledge of all Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) related standards and proven skills in fiber termination or certification are also preferred.
This position provides planning, management, and technical services for the College?s entire network, an essential part of the College?s operation, by providing nearly 100 percent up-time and by planning for growth.
