Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology required. 3-5 years? experience in manufacturing preferred.
? Experience maintaining and repairing printing and collating equipment a plus.
? Experience with 5S principles and Lean manufacturing methods preferred
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Project, and CAD and Maintenance software a plus.
? Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
? Proven ability to multitask effectively, prioritizing assigned tasks, and demonstrate the ability to work well in and contribute in a team environment.
? Able to work with little to no supervision.
? Able to review production processes and recommend corrective actions and manufacturing solutions that will help to improve the safety and quality of production.
The Project Technician will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Manager on high level matters pertaining to plant operation, equipment status, and operational efficiency. Assist with providing capital equipment and facility justifications and requests.Assist with the operational readiness of the production environment.
? Provide technical support for the custom manufacturing of new and existing products by assisting with improving processes, procuring and/or designing equipment, and assist implementing new manufacturing processes in accordance with deadlines, safety, quality, environment, and budget.
? Support operations on the production floor to resolve manufacturing issues and optimize existing processes, design of manufacturing equipment, and continuous production process improvement.
