Wages/Salary: Hire Range: $49,594 – $75,000 annually

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field and experience in information technology. Related experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Three to five years of professional application and web development experience. Must have excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills, good project management skills on a varying level to technical expertise and ability to work. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. Valid driver's license and safe driving history required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated high-level of proficiency in application and web development and information architecture using industry standard tools and programming languages such as PHP, Java, Java Script, Visual Basic, HTML and MySQL. Demonstrated experience in information and interface design and project management. Working experience in established Web Content Management Systems. Mobile development Experience is preferred. Advanced experience with server-based applications and operating systems such as windows and UNIX environments. Experience with SharePoint is a plus. API integration skills and experience are preferred.

Job Description:

Reporting to Information Technology Services, the Senior Web Developer will be part of a dynamic and transformational team to translate web functional requirements into technical design and development in support of the University mission and digital strategy. Will provide effective technical support and maintenance to the University Content Management System as well as web development, implementation, maintenance and integration of high-level databases. Position will be based out of Greenville or/and Greenwood along with opportunities for supplemental remote telework.

Schedule:
University Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
To include some nights and weekends
