Job Description:

John de la Howe - School for Agriculture is a state-funded, public, residential high school focused on providing a unique and challenging agricultural education program. Our school, the first statewide program of its kind in the nation, will allow students to receive hands-on training in the fields of agriculture, agribusiness, forestry, land management, food science, and more - all aimed at assessing the needs of modern farms. Our mission is to provide quality agricultural education that will enable its students to be the state’s future leaders in agribusiness, business, and education.


The Activity Coordinator will work in conjunction with the PE Teacher/Athletic Director to coordinate, facilitate and provide daily student activities. The Activity Coordinator will on a daily basis supervise student activities, supervise the Activity/Game Room, supervise the Gym, and supervise student study time. Activity Coordinator will also transport students to and from sports practices that are held off campus.

A high school diploma and relevant program experience.

Additional Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Valid driver's license required. Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application will be required to bring a copy of college transcript to the interview. Typical working days and shifts available: (23.5 hours weekly) Friday- 3:00pm-9:30pm Saturday- 12:00pm-9:30pm Sunday- 12:00pm-9:30pm
