Wages/Salary: The state salary range is $17,310.00 to $32,027.00 Annually. The agency hiring minumum is $21,519.00 and the maximum is $32,027.00.

Requirements:

You are required to have a 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A"
Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if an qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

You will perform manual labor necessary to hand clear right-of-ways, clean out drainage ditches, repair shoulders, install pipe for driveways, and remove of litter and debris from roadway; train to operate dump trucks in hauling materials and equipment to job sites; train to operate dump truck with sand spreader and snow plow attached; assist with setting up work zones and perform flagging operation at job sites to direct traffic through work zones, safely around workers and equipment during roadway maintenance and repair work; train in the operation of slope mower in cutting sight areas and guardrail mower for mowing guardrail throughout county; train in the operation of heavy equipment including backhoe used during ditch
cleaning, driveway installation and shoulder or slope repair; perform other related job duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.

Schedule:
Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
